May at a glance

10 books read.

Average daily word count is 107.

One more tutorial done in prep for being put up on youtube.

We had a really effective Vision Writers meeting and we had 2 new members show up. (This is for the May meeting, and June’s was even more brilliant but I’ll talk about that more next month) I managed to put my submission in again and the editing I had done paid off.

The BIGGEST thing for the month was being asked by The Spotlight Report to cover Yunyu’s Twisted Tales Brisbane leg of the tour. Hubby took the photos in the link. SO proud of him. Leave us some commenty love on their site if you like *puppy dog eyes*.

Marianne de Pierres also asked for a review so here’s the link to that one on

Hubby turned nearly almost 40 and life is good.

June is only 4 days in while I’m writing this blog, and already it’s bringing me smiles and wow moments.

I can not believe we’re already 6 months into this year. Half way there, halfway gone.

The rest of the year is bound to be lovely, with the possibility of more learning curves and once in a life time opportunities.

Have a great month!

There’s another Charlaine Harris Omnibus to read (and one more to buy) plus a couple of sookie stack house books to get.

More Trent Jamieson. AA Bell, Rowena Cory Daniells and Kylie Chan from the Aussie Contingent of my book shelves.

There’s a Laurell K Hamilton I haven’t even looked to buy yet (but it will happen)

THEN there’s the up and coming review books.

I’ve had a blast so far this year and we’re not even through.

My personal pressure is off now so all I have to do is enjoy the books and keep the content coming in for Burn Bright and all will be lovely bubbly.

Excuse me now while I put some music on to drown out the *Bleeep* head across the road yelling at his wife. I don’t want my happy to go away.

Cool Burn Bright news

I’ll have some UBER cool news on BURN BRIGHT later this week.

Don’t forget to stop back to find out what it is.

Exterminate! Exterminate!

Right. New toy pinging me OFF, and it’s not even the sonic screw driver doing it. ~yet~ For now it’s a webcam that won’t work.

Chrissy tree needs to come down today and I need to reclaim my loungeroom.
Kiddo needs to finish her Garfield scapbook with all the comics from her 2010 desk calendar.
Need to finish buying school books (got at least 13 of them bought) start covering them for grade 5.
Got to stay calm and finish the reviews and dating tips by this afternoon.

Can I do it? I bloody well hope so.
